Finding Joy in...

...a beautiful sunrise (yes, I was actually up early enough to enJOY it)!

...a new washing machine (and dryer) that actually washes (and that chirps out a little diddy at the end of the cycle to let me know it is done washing). Goodbye washer from 1994...you served us well. And for that, I thank you.

...a young boy who loves to cook and to serve people (He took the initiative to slice up cheese and add pepperoni to the crackers and present them to our family guests on a platter! (So sweet, that little dude!)

  1. Hurray for a washer & dryer that work! Today I am filled w/ JOY at the fact that my husband is actually cOnSiDeRing a new refrigerator for us! We bought ours with wedding $$ 19yrs ago, and for the past year or so, I have been defrosting it regularly. (You didn't know people of our generation still had to do that, huh? Well, the gasket around the door is bad, so...) Keeping my fingers crossed. =)

  2. I've been thinking about you and your JOY since last week (funny how God works like that huh?!). Anyway the 2 out of my last 3 daily bible study notes have made me think about JOY (and you by association). I did scan them for you as I thought you might like them for OLW but can't see a way to email you. If you're interested let me know via my blog and I'll find a way to email them to you.
