Head on over to Freehand Scraps and check them out. If you love vintage, you do not want to miss out on this kit! Everything lovely and beautiful! As a momma of two boys, I was happy to play with a little floral and frill. Here's a few sneaks of mine that aren't up over at FHS. I'll be back later this weekend with a few more sneaks of my own! Happy Friday everyone!! Stay cool!

Happy Anniversary Baby...

...got you on my mi---ind!"

16 years ago I said I DO to you... to love and to honor, to cherish and "to SUBMIT" ;) , through thick and thin, though sickness and health, through loss, through grief. I am so very happy "God Blessed the Broken Road"...

..."that led me straight to you."
I'd say I DO all over again, a gazillion times over. (But you already know that!)
Happy Anniversary Babe! :) You DA BEST!!!!

CHA Finds | Part One

Make and take @ October Afternoon-fabulously orchestrated by none other than Lexi Bridges herself! :) October Afternoon? Knocked my socks off! (Like seriously? Across the Big Pond distance we are talking here). Killer kewl booth to boot. (What is with all of these footwear references? Oh well...guess I'll just run with it!) ;0 OA's three new lines will not disappoint. Farmhouse, Sasparilla and Sidewalks all took my breath away. And the new line of SprINKlers? Well...I'll be getting to those! :)

 Boarding Pass

These new stamps? ROcK. I made a quick tag using the farmchair in this set and the detail is EX-quis-ite!
Ok...here is the SprINKLER line up...be still the faint of heart!!
Love me some Sasparilla~ Can't wait to play with that chipboard mini album.
The embossed buttons are awesome as well. Along with miscellany, I'll be busy creating for months!

Adorable layout from none other than Kinsey Wilson! Sadly, she was not in attendance! Maybe next time we'll meet Kinsey! ;) Love that girls' style! Mad scrappin skillz that girl! Like crazypants mad!

This is the interior  "Saloon" wall of the OA booth. Complete with saloon doors you could walk though. Sadly, I never took the time to get a pic of myself walking through them. :(
 Front entrance:

I liked this sign. Yes...rowdy ladies going crazy giddy over fabulous OA designs!!
American Crafts and Amy Tangerine teamed up = Score!!! Everybody wins with this new collaboration! Be sure to check out Amy's adorable Silhouette designs as well. (I have already snagged me a few for instantaneous creating!)
Loved this little mini:
Her fabric brads, embellishments, dimensional sticker collections, stamps and WASHI TAPES = Touchdown!

She has a line of fabric papers out that I simply drooled over. Like, complete gushing experience.

And the salivating continued when I came across "The Great Wall of Thickers." OH. MY. STARS!

Amy's booth was delightful, bright and happy (although my pics SOOC and unedited for time don't do it justice at all!)

Amy's friend Cindy took this pic and bless her, she gave it her best shot...but my fixed lens and her unfamiliarity with my camera, led to a little bit of blur. I still like it though. You can't see the decade plus of wrinkles I have compared to the pretty young thang, Amy! :)
Cindy, did get a great pic of us which I tweeted about earlier this week. Will try to locate and post at some point in the near future.

Check back later for Part Deux (and Three and Four!) of my CHA Road Trip!

CHA Summer -Around the Bend

As many of you are already aware, next week is the big CHA-(Craft and Hobby Association) convention in Chicago. This is where all of the wonderful scrapbooking and paper crafting manufacturers go to show off their latest products and goodies! And this summer, I am very fortunate to be able to attend. EEK!
I have been checking out various websites to see some sneak peeks of what I may run into while I am there and can I just say how excited I am by what I have seen?

So, what have you been seeing on sneaks that have been catching your eye? Leave a comment below and link me up! Also, let me know what vendors you'd like to see sneakies or videos of while I am at CHA. I will do my best to oblige you. ;)

In other news, Mick and Ian are off to music camp and it's just Boo and myself. We've got a busy day planned with a viewing of Harry Potter #7 Part Deux and some ball-kidding for professional tennis team in town. Good stuff!

A Surprise Fly By...

...by this awesome group of Elite Aviators:

oh wait...not close enough for you? ok...how about now?

 or now...
I was pleasantly surpriesed to catch them this close through my telephoto lens as fast as they can fly. REALLY surprised!

Karen and I were driving back from dropping my niece Andrea off at her Grandmommie's and caught sight of the Blue Angels as we were getting ready to pay a toll in Pensacola Beach. She pulled over just in time for me to swap out lenses and quickly capture these shots as the Angels roared RIGHT over our heads. I looked like a crazy tourist as I jumped up and down along the shoulder of the road shouting and giggling at Karen that I got the shot! (Now that I think of it...since we no longer live in Florida, I guess I was a crazy tourist! LOL)
Anyway, it was a wonderful surprise and treat to see the Angels so close and FREE! I was happy I got a few shots for the boys and other family (and blog readers) to enjoy. Off to go make some more memories with the fam! BBL.

Happy 4th of July

Here's a thematic shot for today that I captured at a local fruit stand. (SOOC)

Hope y'all are enjoying some fireworks from a safe distance away! :)

Some New To Us Favs

Had a great morning touring about the area. The boys were wanting to spend some of their birthday money and we googled this particular gem of a find! Not only did the boy come out happy campers, I was very content to just shoot away with my camera, enjoying all of the eye candy, color inspiration and photographic opportunities that abounded. :) Here's just a few pics from this lil adventure:    ;)

Which Bob? Bob the Builder? Bob Wiley? Ohhhh...Bob Marley!! (I sooo knew that! Just messin' with ya Casey!)
 An optometric physician's dream T-shirt.

I sooooo wanted to purchase one of these lovelies for the boys' room, but alas, they were a bit pricey (and the boys aren't great about keeping their room tidy, so it would be lost amongst the masses of clothes, shoes, and musical items.)

We had three more stops before heading back to the beach for an afternoon of beach fun. Will be back at another time to post some of the other favs. :) Have a safe and happy, FREE Fourth to those who recognize it. Thanks to all of our troops for their service and sacrifice so much for our freedom.
