Pocket Page Scrapbooking with Chic Tags | March Kit

Hello everyone and happy Spring Break to those of you who happen to be "breaking" now.

Here with you today to share with you lots of bits and pieces from the playful and bright March Pocket Page Kit on sale now here. My layout covers Week 10 (aka the week of Spring Break preparation).

 This week was filled with two snow days, play auditions for my youngest, attending To Kill A Mockingbird play (the whole family loved), a trip to our cabin, prepping and departure for our Spring Break Vacation, and remembering my big sister, Linda.

To start, I layered up my weekly title page and used the adorably cute "snapshots" camera stamp included in this month's kit as well as the striped arrow. Beside this weekly title card I cut up some Cloud 9 paper "Dreamy" (coming soon!!!) and punched a few mini starbursts to mimic snowflakes, to add to the theme of several of my Snow Day photos.

I layered a few more tags from the March kit onto the "Story of My Life" 4x 6 card and used the"little moments" arrow (trimmed from the base strip of the Cloud 9 "Lovely" paper (coming soon!!) to draw the eye into the circle tag ("every single day"). The "date" stamp from January's kit was used on my weekly card as well. I love that Chic Tags stamps are very practical and can be used over and over again on my Pocket Page layouts as well as my other designs!

 Above and below I have used some of the fabulous exclusive flair in this month's kit ("sweet" and "totally us").

Beneath the "photos + stories" tag I used another of this month's exclusive stamps (I used Staz On jet black ink) and journaled in the date and place with a fine point Sharpie.

 I stitched to adhere the little "true/fact" tag included in this month's kit onto the photo of my eldest son playing in the snow.

Then, I added lots of vintage type journaling to this cute and practical "highlights from this week" 4 x 6 journaling card.

And there ya have it! Week Ten complete
